Sara’s Story – A Short Stay, A Big Impact

Sara’s journey with us began on 3 November 2025, just shy of her 12th birthday.

She came into our care due to changes in living arrangements — a situation that no one ever wants for a senior girl. She arrived with a bowl of milk and half a sausage roll. We were told she’d always struggled with skin allergies and couldn’t tolerate chicken.

Sara was the sweetest soul. At first she was a little shy, but that didn’t last long. Sara quickly showed us who she really was — a happy, bouncy, people-loving lady who soaked up every bit of kindness she was given.

She enjoyed warm baths, gentle pampering, and spending time with her fellow bully friends, getting the comfort and care she so deeply deserved.

And just like that… before we even had time to blink, Sara’s rescue chapter changed again. Her stay with us was short, and while it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye so soon, we couldn’t be happier to see her head off to a foster home where she can rest, heal, and be loved the way a senior girl should be. Thank you, Sara, for trusting us — even briefly. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for you.
